United Forces of Earth Headquarters (地球本部連合軍 Chikyū honbu rengō-gun?) is a military base in Novosibirsk, Russia. It is the largest United Earth military base on Earth.
History[]
The base appeared to have been built during the Soviet era as evident by the large flag painted in the hangar. The base housed civilians that made it to safety from harms way when the Vers Empire invaded the region during the Second Earth-Mars War. The Deucalion finally arrived at the base since leaving Tanegashima. Everyone got a well deserved break. Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia made a speech to all of Earth and Mars, telling everyone that she is well alive and pointed out the plot to kill her. The Orbital Knights who shared the same belief as Count Saazbaum then blocked the transmission of the speech to Mars. (AZ: "Before the War")
The base came under attack by Castle Saazbaum. After it was infiltrated, the base was not even able to put up a decent defense against Count Saazbaum in his Martian Kataphrakt Dioscuria. He destroyed both the Shire and Falabella Platoons after entering. He then went on to search for Princess Asseylum. (AZ: "Wind, Snow and Stars")
The base survived the battle with Saazbaum as the raid on his Landing Castle was successful, but with great casualties. (AZ: "Childhood's End")
Trivia[]
- The UFE Headquarters is analogous to Jaburo from Mobile Suit Gundam, JOSH-A from Mobile Suit Gundam SEED, and Rostroulan from Mobile Suit Gundam AGE, as all served as a major HQ for the Earth forces, albeit JOSH-A not really serving as the main HQ for the Earth Alliance from Gundam SEED.
