Dr. Troyard (博士・トロイヤード Hakase Toroiyādo?) is one of the supporting characters of the ALDNOAH.ZERO television series.

The father of Slaine Troyard, sent to study Aldnoah Drives. Slaine crash landed in his rocket, inside a building on Mars, with a space suit full of water, Princess Asseylum Vers Allusia gave him mouth-to-mouth. (AZ: "Phantom of the Emperor")
After the chaos that erupted from Heavens Fall during the First Earth-Mars War, Dr. Troyard found, and rescued Count Saazbaum after what happened on Tanegashima. (AZ: "Darkness Visible", "Before the War")
2012[]
Dr. Troyard dies on VERS and the others who had known him, now thought of his son as a nuisance. Slaine had told Princess Asseylum about is father and how back on Earth he was enveloped all the time in his research. Afterwards, Saazbaum asks Count Cruhteo to take custody and watch over Slaine. [1]
Relationships[]
Slaine is his son, whom he sent to Mars in order to protect him. Saazbaum later settles his debt with Dr. Troyard by saving Slaine's life during the Second Earth-Mars War.
Princess Asseylum saved his and Slaine's lives.
